Online Class: Gift Planning in a Nonprofit Context

Gary Tenpenny is continuing his classes for advisors and development professionals. Start with GS 859 Gift Planning in a Nonprofit Context, which focuses on what nonprofits call “planned giving.” The course is designed to help advisors and nonprofits collaborate to create, count, and steward significant gifts. By the end of this course, you will be able to work effectively with allied professionals to uplift a planned giving program for a nonprofit by working with its highest-level donors.

The course can be taken at any point in the CAP® curriculum. For fundraisers and for advisors working with nonprofits, GS 859 is a logical starting point.

The course will be taught starting Thursday, September 16th from 4:00 to 6:00 pm ET and continue every Thursday for eight weeks. For more information, go to The American College page on the course.
